Natural Deep Cleaning Checklist
by Local Grit LLC Collaborator on Jul 22, 2021
It’s never too late to get started on Spring Cleaning, but it is easy to get overwhelmed! Don’t fret, luvs, OLIKA is here to help. Here’s our deep cleaning checklist with our favorite natural cleaning alternatives:
Oven: For a natural alternative to harsh oven cleaners, try a mixture of baking soda, vinegar, and water.
Laundry: If your spring cleaning laundry routine usually includes bleach, try brightening towels, curtains, and bedding by boosting your tried-and-true detergent with baking soda!
Floors: It might make sense to use harsh chemicals on your floors, but keep in mind the little hands and paws that are touching your tiles. This year, try castile soap! Castile soap is vegetable based, natural, and safe to use around children and pets.
Windows: For a natural cleaning alternative to ammonia window cleaners, try a 50/50 water vinegar mixture.
Car: To refresh carpets, generously sprinkle baking soda on the area and let it absorb any hidden smells for 1-2 hours before vacuuming it away.
Switches and Remotes: If you have little ones helping to clean, get them involved in smaller tasks like cleaning baseboards, disinfecting light switches, and wiping down remotes and door knobs.
Now that your home is clean and disinfected, make sure germy hands aren’t reversing your hard work! OLIKA Hand Sanitizer Keychain clips right onto your purse or keys so you’re always prepared. Happy cleaning!
